Healing Soup

This is the perfect healing soup for anyone recovering from a cold or injury. It is a savory combination of turmeric, sweet curry, and vegetables.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Use a large dutch oven or cast iron pot to heat butter on medium high heat
  2. Add vegetables, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper
  3. Make sure the squash is softer but not mushy
  4. Add remaining seasonings
  5. Add broth and cook for 40 to 60 minutes until all vegetables are soft
  6. Use an emergent blender  
  7. Add coconut milk and more seasonings to taste
  8. simmer for 15 minutes
