I had a serious aversion to cabbage after an open house in the 90’s. My husband and I were searching for our first home when we walked into a house with a terrible smell. The listing agent confessed that the owners were following the Cabbage Soup diet, and there were not enough candles to mask the smell. It took 20 years for me to consider making cabbage soup, but this recipe was worth it. You can add any extra veggies to this soup. It goes with almost everything.
